I can predict the future

There’s a group out there that’s collecting hair and nylons to create cheap oil booms that can be used in the Gulf oil spill.

You can check out their site here.

The premise is basically this: stuff a bunch of dog hair into a nylon, tie it off, and boom!  You’ve got yourself a boom…. to soak up oil.

So where am I going with this?

Well look what I made like two years ago:

No puppies for oil!

No puppies for oil!

Good god, I can’t believe I didn’t know about this until today.

It’s About Time

About two years ago I made a 12ft x 16ft wheatpaste off of this photo:

Recently I finally got around to putting it up

The Boneyard Art Festival is this weekend down in Champaign, IL and here’s what I have so far.

Hanging up all my stuff

paper cutouts on foam board.

This work is based off of this awesome game.

A wheatpaste of a robot or something fighting like a mechanical squid or a cyborg squid?  Shit, I don’t know.

Marker on paper, 6’ x 5’

that scene from raiders of the lost ark where Indiana finds the correct spot to dig for the ark while the nazis are off digging somewhere else

Spray paint and acrylic on foam board

bleach on sewn together t-shirts
